WMU 3160 Syngenta Münchwilen

In closecooperation with specialists in occupational hygiene and the operating personnel, the “Is” status of operations for various bottling’s of solid and liquid chemicals was measured. A hitherto analysis of the existing work places helped considerably and indicated a number of previous failures and ambiguities.

The batch and package sizes were recorded, as well as the various types of packaging. Also the chemicals were classified into different groups.

On the basis of the aforementioned, the necessary specifications and scope were defined and also a market research was carried out for various solutions, which were presented and as far as possible agreed between the parties.

As a next step, different installation options were identified in the existing space and discussed with operations. At the same time the restrictions of the existing infrastructure were clarified.

The measures necessary for the refurbishment were all defined, quotes obtained and a cost estimate +/-30% was prepared.

The result of our work included the following information, which was used by the Client to create a design budget credit application for the detail engineering.
• Classify actual existing situation
• Design the user request for the new installation (URS)
• Various offers for muffles, working stations, filling stations for solid and liquid substances
• Layout proposal
• Outline concept for the conversion of the existing filling rooms with outline schedule
• Cost estimates of Civil Engineering and HVAC engineering were commissioned directly by our Clients and coordinated by us.
• Detailed estimate

We thank the Client for his confidence and trust our services have made a successful contribution to the outcome of the Dispensations area refurbishment, which is now state of the art with regard to persons and product protection
