Syngenta Projekt in Kaisten „Expansion I“
After almost two years of intensive work, we have now reached the end of the phase 1 Syngenta project in Kaisten.
Without the commitment of each employee and the great project team spirit, it would not have been possible to have completed the project on time - and to a high-quality. There was a lot of work, „blood„ sweat but also lots of laughter.
The background to this project was the necessity to expand capacity of the Syngenta plant by about 50 %. During the construction of the existing plant in 1995, measures were already taken to enable the implementation of a future extension. This fact alone was a major reason why the tight deadlines were achieved.
The documentation for the existing plant was documented thoroughly and the design of the extension was carried out on the basis of the existing plant documentation. The Client remained, however, responsible for the process methodology.
In total, there were approximately 50 main pieces of equipment and corresponding auxiliary equipment. The equipment was specified in line with the latest state of technology and relevant legal framework requirements, installed and then integrated into the existing production.
